Helen Comperatore expressed the belief that the now-deceased Butler, Pennsylvania rally assassin Thomas Crooks didn’t act alone during a sit-down interview with NewsNation’s Rich McHugh. (RELATED: POLL: 42% Of Democrats Say Trump Butler Assassination Attempt Staged)

In the interview, the widow was asked about how she had “expressed” her belief that Crooks was the only one who shot, but she suspects Crooks was working with someone else.

“I don’t believe there was another shooter there, but I do believe he was working with somebody. I believe it was an inside job, inside the government somewhere.”

When asked by McHugh whether she believed the motive was political, Comperatore replied, “Oh yeah, absolutely.”

The interviewer then asked whether she had seen evidence supporting that belief. (RELATED: Possible Thomas Crooks Contact Allegedly Unmasked)

“I’ve been told things, but I’ve had something that happened with me just afterwards, and you start putting the pieces together. It just made total sense.”

Asked what would help bring her closure, Helen Comperatore stated, “When the people who put this all together that day are caught, and it comes out.”

The McHugh also asked what message for the President she would have and what it would be. “Just to not forget about us and remember what they went through that day. You know, we’re still here. We need answers,” she said. (RELATED: RETRACTED: FBI Docs Reveal Trump’s Would Be Assassin Contacted Butler Officials Before The Attack)

McHugh further reported that the Secret Service took nearly a year to contact Helen Comperatore following the attack.

Many of the questions Comperatore’s widow asked have gone unanswered, and she is now appealing to President Trump to intervene and apply pressure so that her family can learn the truth of what happened that day.
